Mission Statement

  • APPNA New York supports and encourages physicians & surgeons dedicated to helping education and scientific development in medicine, enhancing the quality and effectiveness of health care by fostering excellence and professionalism in the practice of Medicine and delivering state-of-the-art health care, regardless of ethnicity, faith, race, creed or gender.
  • APPNA New York supports philanthropic work to help the community in USA, Pakistan & other countries in need.
  • APPNA New York advocates to protect and support the rights of Physicians & patients.

Dear APPNA Members and Friends,

I, Dr. Sadaf Sheikh, am a graduate of King Edward Medical College.

I am a diplomat of the American Board of Anatomical and Clinical Pathology.

I am currently working for the Northwell Health System

It is with great honor and a deep sense of responsibility that I will serve as President of APPNA 2026. I am truly grateful for the trust you have placed in me and this leadership team.

APPNA has a proud legacy built on dedication, service, and collaboration. I would like to sincerely thank our past leadership and members whose hard work and vision have strengthened our mission and expanded our impact. Their contributions have laid a strong foundation for the future.

As we move forward, my goal is to work closely with our executive committee, members, and partners to further advance APPNA’s objectives. Together, we will focus on unity, innovation, and meaningful engagement, while staying true to the core values that define our organization. Our diversity across specialties, generations, regions, and perspectives is not a challenge; it is our greatest strength.

My commitment as President is that every member feels heard, valued, and engaged,

Our objectives for 2026 are:

Increased membership, support for young physicians and students, professional collaboration, humanitarian and health care initiatives here and abroad.

I encourage all members to remain actively involved and to share your ideas, energy, and expertise. Your participation is essential to our continued growth and success. I would need your full support and cooperation
